1 Where can I park in Middelburg?
Middelburg has had a progressive parking policy since June 2, 2025. The first 2 hours (on the street) or 4 hours (at Damplein) cost €3,20 per hour. After that, it’s €6,40 per hour. A fixed rate of €3,20 applies at the Hof van Tange, Loskade, and Molenwater parking lots. Free parking is available at the parking lot on Oude Veerseweg (a 15-minute walk) – navigate to the Ramsjburg thrift store.
Parking garages cost approximately €11,30 per day. Kousteensedijk is the closest, but Geere is also easily accessible. Q-park P&R Segeersingel costs €1.89 per hour, with a maximum daily rate of €9. Parking is free everywhere from 8:00 PM on Saturday to 8:00 AM on Monday.

2 Where can we store our bicycles?
The accommodation itself is not suitable for bicycle storage.
We do not have bicycle storage facilities at our B&B. Bicycles can be parked in the surrounding area, with varying degrees of security.
You can park your bicycle at the nearby Abbey Square, under a security camera. The square is closed during the evening and at night.
In the bicycle shed at Zusterplein (400 meters from Reigerstraat), we can reserve a locker upon request for €5 per night per bicycle. You can send this request to our email address.

Warning: It is currently unsafe to store your bicycle in the NS (Dutch Railways) ‘guarded’ bicycle shed.
3 Is the accommodation easily accessible by train?
There is 1 train every half hour to Middelburg. Once you get off, it is a 650 m walk through the city centre to the accommodation.

Stay
1 Are there any rooms on the ground floor?
The Savannah as well as the Forsyth are located on the 2nd floor and are accessible via a narrow and steep staircase.
2 Is the accommodation suitable for disabled people?
Due to the narrow steep stairs to the rooms and the breakfast cellar it is NOT suitable for people with walking difficulties.
3 Does the stay include breakfast?
Between 08:00 and 10:00 you can join us in our cellar for breakfast. This is included in the price.
4 Is smoking allowed in the accommodation?
No, due to fire safety, smoking is absolutely not allowed. Not even on the roof terrace.
5 Are children allowed?
Our B&B is not suitable for children under 12 years old.
6 Are the rooms cleaned/beds made for longer stays?
We respect your privacy, so we only enter your room at your express request. If you want your bed made or need clean towels, we can of course always arrange this at your request.

1 Can I book directly?
You can book directly via our site. If you do not have a credit card, you can always contact us to find an alternative.
2 Can I bring pets?
Due to the uneven floors and hygiene reasons, pets are not allowed in the rooms.
